Mexico good, I quit job

Got back Monday from Mex. We were in an all inclusive 40 mins north of Puerto Vallarta. Not may bag really but did get to lay on the beach, read the Da Vince Code, Surfed and Swam in the Pacific. didn't think about work or the big decision to quit. i do want to go back to PV. My Uncle (Second Cousin really) has a place in PV that is 123 steps from the beach in the "romantic" part of PV. It was beautiful. Pics coming soon.

Quit the joerb. A friend in the industry has been working me for a long time to join his start-up. he's offered different things at different times. He's offering me a year contract to start. It pays more. It's different than here. I'm feeling stale, undervalued, unhappy, and no room to move up. I think the department lack vision, is lazy undiceplined and has a pervers view of the value of employees.

Turns out half the QA department quit within a week--all senior people. The sr developer also quit and the QA department manager is having a nervous break donw and is on a month leave.

There have been many times where everyone in QA were so frustraited and wanted to quit but no opertunities presented themselves. I kind of think that the myserably handled "projects" of the past contributed to a low esteem in the QA department which lead to apathy and it was only a matter of time before people quit. As luch would have it we all quit at the same time.

Hi Dave....

I agree with the comment you made. Low moral. Low satisfaction.

I am one of the people that left. And my reason are almost the same as yours. Hope we both get what we want.

Cheers!
