Oh I've been drawing...and painting.

I haven't posted in a long time but I'm going to make an effort to do it more.

These are to interesting images I found in the globe and mail that i've tried to draw/paint. Fun.

The last several months have been very busy though I don't really know with what. Wednesday and Sunday night are Figure drawing at Xchanges. I've been buying loads of art supplies, paper, water colours, brushes, pens, moleskins. I'm excited about drawing and painting again--that's probably old news.


I've gone through a number of news print pads...2 I think. When I look back on them some of the drawings I like some I don't. Most of the time I can remember what model I was drawing some times I can't thought. I'm learning techniques and form and i'm trying to keep my eyes open to looking at things more.

The hard part is trying to find time to do it. I'd like to try and draw/paint every day. I don't have any allusions of greatness, are illusions that I have some kind of tallent. I simply enjoy doing it and want to become better.

I'm feeling like a slug as I've not been doing any exercise, no Gym, not running, no swimming. I'm looking forward to getting back into it.
