Happyness is easy
so the song goes. in a better space today for some reason.
Trip to Van was fun. Got to see my friends Louise and Ron. 'haven't talked to them for a while. I got to see their place in west-van. my sister used to live not far from them just off Davie. nice area...real "frienly".
The show: Youth Group opened up. First impressions: a little whiney, good driving drummer and bass player. I'll give em a listen.
DCFC were very enjoyable to me...nice sound...decent show. No one danced except for a very small teeny tiny wee group. Maybe i'm going to the wrong shows but people don't dance.
I'm not sure how people out there feel about this but...icksnay on the lighters waving solemny in the air to the ballad bit. It was cool in the 80's when people did it at Journey concerts but this is not working for me now. It seems dangerous and lame. like cheering "WOOOOOOOOOOO!" I think the fact that the zeneth, the ultimate "Woo" of appreciation people muster, harnessing all their skill, wisdom and intellect in "woo", articulating an expression of their ulimate appreciation to me is a clear indication that god does not exist...I mean couldn't god create a cooler way to show appreciation than to go "woo"? perhaps god does exist and he's got people doing this to piss eachother of and make him laugh.
So yeah...me no like lighter waving and "wooo[ing]"
I intend to get some Pics up soon. Have to figure out how to host pics.

Got my Polaroid camera today and got some film for it. I'mma gonna bring it to work tomorrow and see if the drn thing works.
